German Buses Feature Bookshelves and Free Books

“Germany’s VHH, from Hamburg, decided to incorporate libraries and reading into their passengers’ everyday commute.
They installed bookshelves with free books so that anyone may pick a title from the shelves and read while they ride!

So many of you might be thinking, well what happens if I don’t finish the book during the ride?

When you know a book has sucked you in and that you won’t be able to part with it, never fear! VHH’s policy is that you can take it home with you and either bring it back to the bus bookshelf or mail it to the store that provides VHH with the books.”
